Kenmore Golf Course was opened in 1992 on converted farmland in the heart of the highland Perthshire by the banks of the silvery Tay. The design of the golf course was quite straight forward and the landscape was, almost unbelievably, perfect for a good quality golf course.
The mildly undulating fields, the natural mounds with mature Scots Pine(roundels) and the ditch and dyke boundaries (Ha-ha) allowed the layout to follow and utilise the natural features. The course has matured into a first class course and the greenkeeper ensures it is always in first class condition. Visitors are welcome and always return.
The clubhouse and changing rooms are converted 19th century farm buildings and a tasteful furnished. Children are welcome in the bar and restaurant. There is a lovely patio and petanque piste (French boules). There are many lovely walks and Loch Tay offers safe swimming and water sports, and fishing
