Buchanan Castle was established in 1936 and is owned by the Duke of Montrose. It is a lush parkland course offering an abundance of scenic views that live in the memory for many years.
It is only a few miles off the direct route from the city to the famous attractions of the Trossachs and is perfectly served by the lovely village of Drymen, less than two miles away. It is a beautiful course that enjoys magnificent surroundings an done which will live in the memory for some time.
Buchanan Castle Golf Club Is a lush parkland course offering an abundance of scenic views that live in the memory for many years. It has a total yardage of 6047 yards with a Par/SSS of 70/69. The castle lies in a heavily forested residential estate surrounded by every tree native to Western Europe including five different types of oak and soaring pacific Coast Redwoods.
The course runs alongside the peaceful Endrick Water and offers spectacular views out towards the mountains of Arthur, Vane, Vorlich, Lui and Ben Lomond. The course is less than a mile from the start of Loch Lomond .
